Super M oil Pump

Hey all! Once again I am am looking to the experts for advice. I am rebuilding my engine, and have discovered that my oil pump is out of spec. for the recommended .004-.006" diametral clearance. By my measurement the drive gear is around .010-.012" under-size and the shaft is slightly scored. The inside of the housing shows a little wear but not too bad. After looking for a new pump I discovered that nobody makes them. I know the pump worked when I took the engine apart, but my pressure gage is shot so I'm not sure how much pressure it was making. Am I stuck trying to wade through used pumps till I find one that is reasonably good, or is there somebody out there who can re-build 'em? :?

Just have the bottom plate machined flat again. That
alone will bring your pressures back up.

I used to replace a lot of the shafts, they came with gear on them. It does wonders for hot oil pressure at low speed. End covers not a real problem on that model but I always sand them flat just to make sure . I would look for a used pump but not spend too much time worrying about it if you can't find one.
