350 Utility battery

Bought a '57 gas utility yesterday. It's been converted to 12 volt. Seller threw a wally-world battery on it so we could get it home. What size battery does it take? I can't find anything in the archives and I don't have the manuals yet.

Three ideas.

If you are running the Wally battery, why not keep doing it until it fails to start.

The original battery was 6v, so all replacements will be incorrect (but the more CCA the better as long as it fits under the dash, and can have a lid put on it. Plastic RV battery lids work well.

Make sure the cables are 0gauge, less cable is less start. Jim

Thank you, gentlemen. The battery the seller threw on it so we could get it home is a side-terminal with the positive terminal so chewed up I had to put a drywall screw between it and the cable end to get it to hold. I don't know what the negative cable is from but it looks like someone tried to use the end for a hammer. Battery and cables are number 2 on the list of things to buy. Manuals are number one.
