1943 M value

Just wondering at a ballpark figure of the current value of a 1943 M. It's a semi-retired, wide front ended weed mower and snow pusher farm tractor, runs good, and is in comparatively good, un-messed-with cosmetic condition. From what I can see, the 1943 M was the least produced with under 5000 made. THANKS..

Im from southern Ill around here you can buy them all day long for 2,500 usually less than that,alot depends on where your at.

I'd guess around $1500. Totally restored M's go for $2000-$2500 in my area.

An M is an M. It really makes no difference what year it was made or how many were made that year. The big thing that effects tractor value today is the condition of the rear tires as well as the over-all condition of the tractor. A nice and straight, good running M with poor rear tires will bring around $1,000 or less, while that same tractor, with excellent rear tires, might bring $2,500. That original IH wide front might add $500 to $600 to the value.
