Dating a 15/30

I know its been asked numerous times. how to date a 15/30 that's mssing a tag? I know its to do with casting dates. With the Parts book have tracked it to late 1926, one of 1935 in the s/no range.

the day, month and year is stamped in the housing under the flyheel.just crawl under and take a look.

(quoted from post at 05:24:04 09/16/10) I prefer to date women...but. Maybe you already have, but the archives may be of help to you.

I agree, but only up to a point. Developing a meaningful relationship with an antique tractor is usually less costly and sometimes can even be more rewarding. :D

But, seriously, folks....there is a serial number stamped on the engine block, that could reasonably be assumed to be the same as the tractor's number. Might be located somewhere near the front, on the belt pulley side.

I saw this earlier this a.m. when I was searching the archives; re-found it and it is good for a laugh, something we all need more of. I hope you have success "dating your tractor" Me, still full-blooded, heterosexual Norwegian hyphenated American, I have an eye for a great pair of legs and red iron.
poke here for a date

I wonder if he is talking a woman who is thirty that dresses and acts like a fifteen year old or a fifteen year old that acts like a thirty year old. The first one I would avoid at all costs and the second one is fine unless you are over seventeen. Big trouble if you are over eighteen. LOL.

Dress smartly and have a boquet of flowers as you arrive at the shed door. Conduct yourself as a gentelman and move slowly. Remember, it's only a tractor, don't expect too much by way of return.

Probably will change your luck...but, may be okay as long as you like something a little older.....and a little rough around the edges.

(Sorry, couldn't resist the chance to try to be funny)
