Farmall H transmission bearing help

Hi all.

I am trying to locate the bearing inside the transmission that goes between the drive shaft and the pinion shaft. The bearing I took out has the part number of MU1205 on the race. Anybody know of a source that is cheaper than the dealer($78) for this part?

Thanks guys!

Thanks. I did find it online for $66, but with shipping it was right back up to $78 again! Oh well, guess I"ll have to bite the bullet.

call Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch 785-548-7437. He will most likely have that bearing used. He keeps all bearing out of every tractor he parts out. I'm positive he'll send you a good one and it will most likely be half or less of the price you've found for that new one.

It better be!

I bought most of my bearings from Bearings, Inc in Elkhorn, WI. They are a local bearing shop. I would check the yellow pages and Google it. There has to be one in your area as well. I found most of the bearings were about half the price of CNH. They could also get about half the seals I was looking for for half price or less. BTW, if you thought that bearing was scary wait until you have to buy an axle bearing!!!

Wait, are you looking for the one in the bull pinion carrier? I think I still have a pair of functional bearings from my H.
