This last week-end I bought a 1940 Farmall A tractor. The previous owner had replaced the muffler with one that has a 1 1/4" muffler outlet and the catalog calls out for a 1 3/8ths outlet. Will this cause too much back pressure? Will I have a noticable lack of power? We have a few more repairs to do so we have not run it much. Thanks, Randy

No different than putting on a glasspack on a car. A bit louder. Back pressure is not an issue of performance unless restricted, not enlarged. Rusty is correct.
