Mike,

The Farmall B-450 has a direct start diesel engine with glow plugs and is 281 cubic inches. This is the same displacement as the USA Farmall 450 but most engine parts are different as the USA 450 has a gas start then switch over to diesel engine. The Farmall B-450 is approximately 55 PTO HP from the factory but most have probably been turned up over the years. A very good tractor in my opinion. Basicly like a Farmall Super M with a factory three point hitch.

Sorry to be critical Harold but the B450 as a UK built BD264 diesel engine. Here in the UK IH put the BD281 diesel engines in the B614 and 634 tractors and the TD8 crawers. The B450 tractors were built at the Doncaster factory from 1958 to 1970. MJ
