What would cause our International 574 to persist in reading a high positive charge whenever the engine is running--like almost all the way towards the "C" on the ammeter? The tractor has a new battery, a new coil, and a new ammeter. Also, is there a schematic diagram of the wiring system available on line for this tractor?

1102920 tractor serial # is a break point for alternator/generator.
Tell us what you have for more help.
caseih.com search for parts diagrams help a lot.
If the battery voltage is 14.2 to 14.8 it is probably OK if higher it needs a new regulator. Make sure of all grounds, including the regulator if it is an external box. Jim
