Is there any place to get a correct top for the battery box behind the seat on a 350 Utility Diesel? The box is the same size as the underseat Farmall box that pivots for access, but apparently just has a plain lid. I've seen several Utes parted out on epay, but no mention of battery boxes, and no responses from the sellers about boxes. I've got an extra Farmall lid that I'm going to bolt down with a toolbox on top to cover up the seat mounts from the Farmall, but would like to get the right one for it
Thanks, Gene

Yeah, I could make one up, but would like to find a "correct" one at some point, not in a hurry. I have a D2 CAT fender tool box that fits the Farmall lid just right, actually doesn't look too bad, and I can just bolt it down to the Farmall lid for now- a little red over the yellar will make it tolerable, and it has a hasp for a padlock

You won't likely see any mention of that battery box when folks part a 300U or 350U, since only the diesels used a 12V battery. The gas battery was in front of the shifter and was simply a sheetmetal battery cover.
