Brush cover for Delco starters

I have at least two starters that need new covers. Does anyone reproduce the tin circumferential band at the rear of the starter? My SMTA and W-400 need the part.

Try e-mailing "[email protected]" and ask him if he has it. Someone kindly gave me his name (Ken) when I advertised for one in the classified section here. He had one for my SAV.

Get ahold of Wayne at Triodiode. I believe he has them. Kind of pricey-- maybe $12 to $14.

For that price are they like the originals with a screw and nut to hold them on? I've got the one piece replacements for $2.15.
