H Oil Pressure Guage

Hi, Does anyone know if the oil pressure guages on an H and a Super H are the same? The one on my '53 SH is pegged even with the engine off. All I can find in all the web parts stores are for H's. Thanks!

The gauges are interchangeable But... If you are going for authenticity there may be three different background patterns for the gauge, and possibly two different needle styles. (from memory) Jim

Just something to check. I've noticed that at times some of the gauges are very picky on how tight you tighten the nuts on the two posts on the back. Even if they're just a little tighter than snug it will keep the gauge from working. If yours still looks good just try loosening it a little and see if it works. Or just keep this in mind too if you end up buying a new one.
