I have found a 1950 cub that I think is a demostrator. You can still see the white paint showin thru the faded red paint. It has a belly mower and a new radiator. It"s supposed to be a good running tractor. Can anybody tell me what it"s worth and what it could be worth?

500 -3000 depending on engine tires bent body parts the list can go on some more too many things can be needing serious repair. Tires and tubes 400 rears fronts 90 need more prices. Your question is hard to answer just how bad do you want the tractor its nobodys business what you pay you want it buy it. They havent made any white Cubs since March 1950 and i dont think they have any plans on making more.

But there wasn't any documentation of the ones they did make so how much did it raise the value?

not to mention how many were painted white since then and passed off as Demos
takes more than white paint
there were gold stars and other special decals also

Serial number needs to be in the range of 99536-106511. White tractors are the same as red except for the paint. If I found one, I would paint it red, in fact I have already done a C that way. White is of no value to me, and greatly exaggerated by some people. It's only paint.

seems everybody has white paint underneath could be white primer i use white primer when i paint a tractor

What is not known for sure is whether or not the entire Jan-March production was white. I believe Guy Fay said they may have done some, quit for a while and then did some more. They apparantly were not mixed on the production line. SO, the serial is not a sure thing. Most people will agree that the tractor is "probably" correct with the correct serial and visible white under the red. However on my "white" C, I stripped ALL the white and red off and repainted it red. So several things can go wrong. SO, I don't think it really makes them worth any more, maybe a couple hundred for one unrestored, $500-$1000 for a restored one. Best thing to do is to take pride in what you have, if anyone is proud of their "white" C, restored or not, so be it. But they are not worth the $10000 I have seen a couple advertised for.
