Super C won't crank

I have a 1954 Farmall Super C who now won"t crank. I got it running yesterday; replaced bad gas, cleaned out the oil bath, and she fired right up. Went out this morning to start it again, pulled the knob out to engage the starter and its like I"m doing nothing. No clicking, no whine, nothing. Suggestions? I don"t know much about the ignition system so if you could tell me what things look like..?? I know what a battery is, starter, coil, plugs, and distributor.

Take the cables off the battery & clean the posts and cable ends. Take off the other ends too & clean them. Remember clean, bright & tight.

It is also possible that the starter drive has become jammed in the teeth of the ring gear on the flywheel, which is a more or less common occurence. Get your wrench and loosen the bolts that hold the starter on. Loosen the bolts enough that you can pull the starter out a little way. If the drive was jammed, you will hear, as well as feel, a "click" when the drive becomes un-jammed. Shove the starter back and tighten up the bolts and you're good to go. The same thing might happen again tomorrow, next week, next month, or maybe never again.

May want to take the battery and throw a charger on it, you may have a lose wire somewhere causing it to lose voltage, if it happens again take the battery out and have it tested also. and with what was already said, clean the cables up good

Check the ground wire where it is bolted at the rear of the battery box. Gave lots of trouble. We ran a new ground cable to a bolt down by the starter. If you have the time, pull off the starter switch [which you pull to start] & see if that is worn badly. It's held on by 2 screws.

So I have new battery cables, a fully charger battery, a rebuilt starter, and the metal is cleaned and shiny. She still won't start. When I pull the handle to start her it's like I'm doing nothing... no noise or anything. Other suggestions?
