Super A bolts

What is the best replacement, other than NOS, for the three front wheel bolts on a super A? Should they remain fine thread? Mine are so rusted and pitted I will never get them back on once off. I Already snapped one.

Personally, I would just get the closest matching size out of my bolt bin.

I would go to Lowes or TSC and look for what is closest, but pay attention and get the right strength (no unmarked chinese bolts) - you dont need them snapping off at the worse possible moment

Fastenal has square headed grade 5 bolts, but probably not in fine thread. That may be as close as you can find.

Originally they were coarse thread, 1/2" x 2-1/2". McMaster-Carr has them in Grade 5, but they come dear at $3.51 apc // Fastenal has them in a Grade A307A fo $0.98, but I don't know offhand how that grade compares.

I just use common 1/2 x 2 1/2 coarse thread been using them for years with no reouble and i use my tractors. You didnt say which mount to the rim you have as there are two different rims and the way they mount. Adjustable rims and fixed.
