My 666 gas has a miss in it and i have done every thing ,plugs, points, cap, wires, carb,.I was just playing with it tonite and i think there is no spark on number three plug. I can take the wire of and there is no difference in how the engine runs. Any ideas? Thanks Erik...

If the spark is getting to the plug, (put a plug on the end of the wire, lay it on the block and start it. If the plug fires, I would then move the #3 plug to number 2 hole and see if the missfire follows the plug. If so replace the plug.
If it does not, it will be necessary to do a compression check on the cylinder. If the compression is off, or different, I would pull the valve cover and check the valve operation. If the valves are working, (set them while you are in there) and do a cylinder leak down test. Jim

No they are AC plugs. I put champions in first they were just a regular plug and they didnt last 3 hours now i got AC plugs but they are the hoter ones and they seem to be better. I am going to take the one back and try a new one.

Were you getting a spark by jumping the #3 wire (or any of the wires) to the block? You should have a hot blue spark jumping at least 1/4" if you stick a screw driver in the end of the wire and hold it close to the block or any good ground.

Yep the wires are in the right order. I changed the plug giving me problems and it is better. I checked the compresion and im getting any where from 80 to 150 is that normall? 80 seems a little low.

80 IS low, but more important is the extreme range of 80 to 150. You probably have some burnt valves. I'd say it is past time to have the head rebuilt

inconsistent compression is a possible sticking valve. Or poor compression testing method. Full throttle, all plugs out, Charged battery, Six revolutions per cylinder. Then do it with a teaspoon of oil in the cylinder. If still wild, check the valve train for a sticky valve. Jim

Yes a sticky valve is my next guess. It sounds like it has a stuck intake valve because there is a slight hissing sound when its running.
