OT: Photo ads. Anyone else annoyed?

I really enjoy the photo ads section of this sight. In fact I have used it over the years to buy and sell. Is anyone else annoyed by this clown from Alabama that keeps painting up old sewing machines to look like tractors and selling them in the photo ads under tractors? I guess it might be appropriate under one of the other categories but certainly not under the tractors section. I sent a note to the manager of the sight but never got any repsponse. It might seem petty but for some reason this really gets under my skin. Am I the only one?

Looks like he is selling them. He has talent 9and patience) beyond what I could do. Let the guy alone, he is doing something that is obviously making some people happy. Just dont look at the ads.

Now that is an interesting adaptation. How about painting a tractor to look like a sewing machine? You could double the interest in this hobby by getting all the wives involved. And you would never have too many tractors.

Not a bad idea and I bet a pto shaft could be adapted to make a needle go up and down...

Take pictures.

What is it that bothers you about it, the fact hes making tractors out of sewing machines, or ruining old sewing machines, or the fact hes making money?

Boy, didn't mean to outrage so many of you. My point was that if he wants to sell useless crap like that on this site he should use the appropriate photo ad category. I think there is a miscellaneous category or toys or whatever. The tractors category is as I understand it supposed to be for complete real farm tractors. I don't care if he wants to peddle his junk but I shouldn't have to sift thru it when looking at for real tractors. Just me I guess. Forget I mentioned it.

What bothers me is him using a section of this site for something other than what it was intended for. Oh yeah and they look really stupid to boot. I guess that bothers me too!

Sounds like your still upset.
He posts his ads very clear.
Just skip it and go to the next one.
I"m retired and nothing bothers me anymore.
If the weather is the only thing I have to complain about then life is good.
If the person"s sewing machine post is the only thing bothering you then life is also good for you.

No kidding. If that bothers that guy this much, how would he handle a REAL crisis in his life? Probably blow his f------ mind completely.

The guy has talent, I been thinking about doing some myself. Am I annoyed, heck no , only thing that bothers me is people that are easily annoyed.

it doesnt bother me, like most other folks, if i dont want one i wont order one, but ill always see the add, when i go to the photo ads, i always click "all' if i look at just tractors, i might miss something else i didnt know i needed until i saw it

I agree...something has to be done to get this type of outright fraud removed from here. How would you like to be the poor buyer that is expecting a tractor and ends up with a painted sewing machine?

Yeah... I don't believe it's the worst thing I've seen. Maybe they would be better sold on the Misc. or Toy section, but what the heck... gotta' keep a sense of humor about things.
