IH 240U Filters Parts

Are you talking about the Hydro Filter/Strainer that mount on the frame??? I'm asking cause mine doesn't have a filter per se just the strainer and it is in the CIH catalog, Part#366576R91
 
Hey ED,

Does this one use the two small doughnut like filters and a screen mounted behind a six sided plate on the right side of the clutch housing?

If so then the best thing to do is to replace it with the newer style oval filter and new style screen/bypass valve from CIH.

Baldwin lists the two doughnut filters as # PT214(2) replacing IH #375085R91

hen it sounds like a add-on unit, maybe. A picture would further your cause greatly. If it is, an add-on then Napa would be your best bet. But send us a picture, it would settle thing very quickly. 8)
 
If it is a single filter cartridge inside of the cast housing, don"t bother looking for any aftermarket replacements. I tried everywhere and ended up buying an IH replacement for $40. Which is outrageous! I tried via model number. If you can find a dimensional equivalent, pls let me know.
