C-21-P Mower hookup to Super C

Is there a picture or diagram on how to hook up a C-21-P mower to the Super C. I need to figure out what to do with the stabilizer bar (?) on the right side. I'm new to the fast hitch system.

Are you looking at the draft rod that attaches to the Touch Control on the right side? You can disconnect it from the Touch Control and pin it to the housing on the right side of the torque tube. You don't need it for a fast hitch mower and you do need the touch control (as I recall) on the left side to raise and lower the cutter bar. To stop lateral swing, you need to relocate the pins in the lateral links to pin it solid. Mowed a lot of hay with one years ago, but it has been 50 years ('56 thru '60) so my memory may not be exact.

We had one of them mowers when I was a kid and I thought I remembered a bar hooked to a clamp on the right axle. Then I remembered I have a fast hitch attachment book that took a while to find. The part you're talking about is a auto release coupling bar, a couple of flat bars with a hook and a spring. It hooks to a rear axle attachment clamp, looks like the drawbar clamps on an M only it fits the Super C axle.
That auto release bar breaks away if you hit some thing.

It appears that there is suppose to be a big eye bolt on the bottom of rear axel clamp that this bar attaches to. I guess I will need to find out how to put on a new one.

Ours did not have anything like that, just the lateral swing stops built into the Fast Hitch. As I recall, the mower had a built in "breakaway" if you snagged something. Before that we had a C with a #5 JD mower and it mounted to the axle clamps like the rear of the cultivator on the C. I don't remember what the model number on the IH mower was, but it was Fast Hitch and no wheel on the back like the JD.
