Farmall 560 D hydraulic issues

Replace hydraulic pump in tractor. Have a lot of air in the system and hydraulic system is jerky. Power steering is the same. Seems like it get a little shot of fluid now and them. Replaced filter, and spring in valve block. Screen is clean. Comntrol valves worked great prior to this issue also. The tractor had no lift capacity even when I increased the rpm"s

two things come to mind:air leak at pump mount cover,or low hydro oil.fill to level plug,then add 5 gallons.

I'm thinking suction tube , did you replace it. Most of the time you need to. Could have damaged it putting it in also. New ones are made to fit several pumps and need to have seal adjusted to proper length to seal.
