How much will this cost me?

Looks like I have a worn front engine seal on my C, along with a leaky head gasket. Also sounds like a valve is sticking a little bit.

I got a back of the napkin quote from a local mechanic to replace these seals and do a little valve work for 500-600 bucks. Is this price reasonable, or am I getting hosed?

I think that quote is very reasonable.

Rusty is on track. The front pulley comes off very hard. (press fit) A good bearing splitter and heavy puller, or hydraulic puller system is needed. Front casting/bolster needs to be removed. Jim

Thanks fellas. I knew enough to know that it was out of my league for sure. I don't have the tools for that. I'll need to save up a little for this one..... :shock:
