Hydraulic Boots

I need to replace the original boots on the hydraulic unit of my Super A. Can some one tell me wher I can purchase new ones or if there is something else that will work. I need both the control valve and the piston boots.

I paid about $112 for the four. You can find prices on www.external_link if you want to preview the shock from your dealer.
 
I went through this about a year ago. About fell over when I got the price for the new larger boots. I could not find anything else close that might work, so I decided to look closer at the old leather boots. No holes in them, and finally decided that if they lasted 60 years, they may last 20 more. If they do, I may not need the tractor anyhow. I put the old leather boots back in service, and will worry about it next time it is apart, or someone else does. May last another 60 years.
 
Mine were pretty well rotted out. When I can no longer afford parts, I will quit -- will happen sooner or later.
 
My brother does custom leather work, and I sent him my old boots while I worked on the rest of the tractor.
