WD9 diesel pump

hello
i have been having problems with the pump crankcase filling up with diesel on my WD9. When i leave the diesel tank full when i park the tractor, by the time i go out to start it again, all the diesel has been through the pump and spilled out the crankcase filler tube on the diesel pump. im tired of having a pool of diesel on the shop floor and was wondering if anybody knows what the problem is. Any help is appreitated. thanks

There are seals and gaskets inside between components (usually the input from the fuel pump to the plunger.) check out caseih.com for parts diagrams. It is not rocket science, just clean it, take it off with the engine at TDC #1 (use the gas starting position to determine that) take it apart clean (take pictures), and go back together with new seals and gaskets.
