Fathers 1945 H

I am looking for a place to find archives to find the sn for a 1945 H that my dad got when he returned from WWII. He got the H and 2P corn picker by a lottery for equipment.
I found a H with SN191513X1 that I believe to be the tractor but would like to verify that. The tractor was bought at Clark,SD.
Any info would be appreciated

1945, but do you know the original serial number? You would have to search Clark's records, if the dealer is still in business, as the records for the factory to the dealer/owner sales are not known to be available -- most think they were lost or destroyed.

Thanks
I was afraid that most of the original records were destroyed. Clark's dealer is no more as most of the small dealers were lost. I don't have the original SN. Sure wish I did as it would make it a lot easier

You serial # fits 1945 but unless you have your Dads # there just aint anyway to realy find out unless you could find someone who worked ther or knew the history of the one you found not an easy thing to do.

The tractor I found came from the area that dad traded his off. I talked to the present owner and he gave me the name of the former owner who is deceased. I am still trying to follow up on that end by contacting relatives.
What we go through on this old iron but that is what makes it fun.
Thanks for the replys and help
