regular narrow tread

A narrow tread is kinda rare(could it be 'Fairway'?).If your thinking about restoring it to sell and make aprofit,FORGET IT!You'll be damn lucky to get the the parts cost back, let alone the labor. If your doing this for personal use and enjoyment,to preserve history,GO FOR IT!Its hard to put a monetary value on somthing like that.Maybe some one else can shed some mre light on the subject.

I used to have an F-20 narrow tread.it was purchaced in boxes(some pieces were missing).I worked on it for 3-4 years.I installed several "options"ie;electric start, foot brakes, overdrive, pto extention, others. We had it in several local parades, used it on the farm, tractor pulled it,--loads of fun.We had to sell it 2 years ago(broke my heart).Could only get $2500 for it.

Nice tractor. Everybody wants to figure in parts cost, obviously, and some people want to figure in "labor cost" but you rarely hear of anybody calculating the value of the pleasure you got working on it, the pride you took in it, or the work it did for you in the field. Most of us are not merchants and our tractors are not inventory. Do it because you like doing it. Shop your parts carefully and get used when possible, do your own labor and you shouldn't go too far in the hole.

A regular NT is considered collectable, not rare. A fairway is rare, only 3 or 4 known. I am currently gathering information on Regular Narrow Tread Specials...could you post the serial number?

Your best money is to sell it now! You will not get much money for your labor; however, if it is a labor of love, you will get much in return for your efforts.

Tractor restoration is not a money making activity.

theres more than that around. 2 here in iowa alone

The problem with asking 'whats it worth' is its all speculation and given the economy its slowed up quite a bit except for crazy rare stuff
