Cub-Carb kit

Does anyone know the NAPA part number for a carb kit , 1953 cub . I picked one up today and the kit they gave me is NOT the right one . Learned the hard way the kits from TS -----junk !!!!

got my kit from this company, if you get one get the "MAJOR KIT", also think twise about removing the idle jet. if the old one can be cleaned while still installed on carb, try to do so. threads are super fine and will strip real easy. good luck, d.coleman

Ouit being cheap and go to the I.H dealer and get a factory kit.

The factory kit lasted how many decades ?

That after market junk doesn't fit correct and you will find that it doesn't run well either.

I have a 54 and a 55 cub and was tought this lesson many years ago after trying the cheap stuff.

Some dealers sell the Tisco kit instead of the IH kit
So beware and ask
TMtractors also sell a good kit

Well , my HI dealer of 100 miles away , Napa did not have the right kit for the IH carb. So I went back to TS Co, They have improved the quality of their kit .I installed the kit and my old sweet heart is purring like a kitten ( Smile ). She has her power back ! I love that old tractor !!
