vertical exhaust on 300U

well i had to replace my cracked exhaust manifold and decided to convert to a vertical setup after having much difficulty trying to find a new original style underslung manifold. i had guy's trying to sell me used original 300U exh manifolds "USED" for 200 bucks so i just bought a brand new vert type mani and here it is for less than 150 to my door....

Looks VERY good. I would probably have done it the same way. The old pocket book will stand up to only a certain amount of "correct".

I believe I have seen more with the vertical than the underslung anyway... looks good.

Nice job, Mike.

I have a 300 Utility and a 350 Utility, and have never considered them good-looking tractors. You've proven me wrong.

And sometimes the only practical thing to do, is to use a more reasonably priced substitute for an unreasonably priced item -- reasonableness, of course, being a matter of opinion.
