What are Farmall 504 Cultivators worth??

Hey guys, I have a FULL SET of cultivators for a Farmall 504 narrow front tractor. They have the hydraulic cylinders in the front as well as the quick connect hoses. I also have the rear 3 pt hitch cultivators for it as well. Everything is in good condition with no breaks or welds.

What do you guys think the FULL SET is worth?? I don't want to "give them away"; however I don't need them laying around here because I sold the tractor. Let me know something.

here are the pictures of the front and rear section......

If its all there with shields and no welds 4-500 as they just dont make em any more. Just look at the used prices for cults ya cant get new ones.

Here I go again. :>)

There is no such thing as a "set of cultivators". No such thing exists because they were never made in "sets", "pairs" or "groups".

Likewise, no such thing as a set of discs or a set of plows either.

ONE front mount cultivator consists of the left gang, the right gang and the rear gang. All the shanks, shields, hydraulics, tools and hardware are included in the singular term "cultivator".

I know we get $800 for the Front and Back Cultivators for Farmall Super A's/100/130/140 tractors. Do these not bring as much since they are for the larger tractors?? Are they not in as high demand?

Thank you Allan. You are 100% correct.

Not sure where you are but remind me never to shop in your neck of the woods... Just picked up a complete 2 sweep / side SA cultivator for $250 and I thought that was a lot... But other than being rusty they are just about as tight as the day they left the IH dealership... Spring trip sweeps and good shovels too...

Have about $150 into the current setup on my SA at the moment which is a deluxe setup with the 3 sweep / side toolbars...

Parting cub & small offset cultivators has sort of fizzled in the past year as the ebay market has become fairly saturated.

Not much of a market North of the Mason Dixon I am afraid... unless you are a small truck farmer and then $600 - $800 isn't in the budget if you hope to turn any profit...

Bought a complete H / M cultivator a while back to... Gave about scrap price for it... $100...

WOW!!! Yea, the cheap price around here would be $500. You aren't gonna get a full set (forgive my terms) down south for $100. The most I have given for them (to re-sell) is $400. Looks like I need to make a trip up North.

(quoted from post at 18:19:00 08/20/10) Go to Texas and see what they'll cost you!! haha, down there they get $1,500 for the full setup!
For a two row cultivator????? When Mom left the farm in the late '90-s, I know there was a cultivator for a C in good working condition that got left there. Also a perfectly good (complete with an unused check row wire) IH 2 row planter in the barn. Nobody wanted two row stuff.

I have two front mount two row cultivators and one four row for H or M. If someone will offer me more than scrap price, come haul them away. No one wants them here in MN except the scrap guys.
