WD9 dying on gas side

My WD9 started dying on the gas side, thought it was fuel related but now I'm thinking it is electrical, I moved a wire that goes to the manifold and now it won't fire, in fact the nut was loose and when I went to tighten it the whole screw turned, looked it the parts book and it looks like there is a switch blade in the end cover so could it have moved so it is not making the right contact, thanks Joe

yes you are on the right track, take the end cap off the intake manifold there is a switch in there, it maybe broken or just dirty, easy fix either way really.

Make a short jumper wire(preferably one with alligator clips for easy on and off)and bypass the switch and see what happens. Be sure and remove the jumper when you're done though or it'll run the battery down.

Wouldn't it be grounding out, so it is making "too good of contact"? Not a big deal, but it might be important to know some day.
