IH B250 loader options

Wondering which loader would fit my B250. I've heard that a 1501 MIGHT but it's 300 miles away so before I pull the trigger just wondering if anyone can confirm which loader will fit..thanks

What make loader? I've got several B-275s with loaders, but they're all aftermarket and made in Canada. I assume the B-250 takes the same loader as a B-275 and a B-414 since they are all on the same basic platforms.

Also the newer Mahindra tractors, models C-4005, C-4505, and C-5005 are built on the old IH platforms that the B-250 and B-275s used. Very likely new loaders for those Mahindra tractors will also fit.

If you get an old IH loader, make sure it came off the same tractor you want to put it on. The brackets are very different from one tractor model to the next. There are many models which share common brackets, but many that don't.

Sorry the 1501 I was referring to was an IH 1501 that came off a B414. I am having a hard time finding out which loader was originally fitted to the B250 since they are so rare in my neck of the woods.

The 1501 came out in '63 to replace the B-901. So it wuld be a bit newer than your tractor. It was designed to fit the British models of that time. I imagine that a 1501 off of a B-414 is about the closest match you could hope to find for your B-250.

Make sure you get EVERY part of the loader off the other tractor. If you have to make some brackets or modifications to brackets, I would expect them to be fairly minor.

Excellent-that"s the info I was looking for-thanks very much. I"ll try and search for a 901 loader, failing that we can do a little welding
