300U loader question

The 300U with loader that I asked about a value for earlier has a hydraulic bucket. I don't have the tractor yet, the loader has never been on it since I have ran the tractor and it has been about a year since I have seen it, but how do you run both the lift cylinders and the tilt cylinder? There is just the valve for the 2-point and one remote valve for the loader to plug into. What model loader is this at the link? This is just like the one I'm getting. For as easy as this loader is to drive into, has anyone made some jack stands for it to make it more of a quick-attach setup? I'd like to see some pictures if you have.
Thanks,
Geoffrey

Normally you would have a dual external control valve arrangement plumbed inline with the other valves to operate the loader controls and leave the other controls free for other duties. The loader should come with these valves. They can be mounted on the loader frame or fender, etc.

On a 300U, the loader control valves would be mounted on the reservoir forward of the Fast-Hitch valve. The flow control valve mounted inboard of the Fast-hitch valve would provide the priority operation for the power steering even with the loader valves installed.

I had one of these, 35 years ago - No PS on mine, it'll make a man out of you steering it. I only had it a few years, and can't remember where the loader control was. I made up an H frame from old poles, I'd drive under it, chain hoist to the loader frame & take it off. No easy job though, as the push arms bolted around the rear axle. Had to un bolt there. There must have been quick couplers on the hoses, as I don't remember any big problem with them.

Geoff, I believe you have an an IH 34U loader. I have one exactly like your picture on my 300U. I have 3 factory remote valves. The front 2 operate the loader and the rear 3rd operates the 2-point hitch. The rear position also has the power steering flow divider/regulator. I think you could add a 2nd front valve for the loader bucket without too much problem. The loader has never been off the tractor in the 50 years I have owned it. Send me an email if you have questions or want pictures of the hydralic valve setup. Al

Thanks for the info. This tractor as it's set up now does have power steering and the fast hitch valve and one remote valve are right next to each other as I remember. They are different shaped handles though if that makes any difference.
