Hi there, I've just bought what I believe is a B-192 plow for our Farmall B today but am having trouble finding any info on it. Does anyone have a copy of a manual or parts list? Thanks.

I had one there is a lot of parts to mount and make it work. You need to post a pic of what you have. You should have two levers a rockshaft going between the rear fenders, a wishbone that mounts to the front area and a long heavy soring on a large rod that goes under the tranny then forward to the wishbone thingy.. You can get an owners manual from a dealer they will of course need to order one. You mite even have the model that uses the exhaust lift.Similar model did alsomount on the A.It just had a narrower rockshaft and a different wishbone assy.

Thanks for the reply Gene. We've had a close look today and think it's fairly complete, but minus a couple of small mounting brackets. I have a manual for an A-192 which appears to be a slightly different but similar setup. See what you think from the photos. Thanks

Looks like the two supports for each end are missing they go from the cross shaft down to the final drive a long one and a short one. Short one goes to a bolt that holda the fender a left one and right. The longer ones bolt to the top hole on final drive. Looks like the rest is all there nice one even got the guage wheel and rolling coulter. mite want my phone # 319-430-3907 im in Iowa central time. later gene b

Thanks for that. I'm actually in New Zealand so not sure how the time zones work out.
Your description of the end support brackets makes sense, although I haven't managed to find a picture of one to know what I'm looking for. Are they the same as the brackets on an A-192? (I know a guy with one of them that I could borrow the brackets as a pattern to make some).

Also, what do you think about the mount for the lift handle that should mount on the floor in front of the seat? Is there a right angled bracket needed there?

Thanks again.

Yes those brackets are the same as the ones used on the A.The lift bracket is the same as the one used for the A mounts on the platform next to the fender. That makes getting on and off the tractor hard.

Being that far away makes it hard. I have the lift lever for the B-187 as thats the same used for the right bottom as the B-192. The long lever on your pic doesent appear as its for the plow. You need one just like your friends A-192.

After looking in thepartds book your long lever appears like its the lifting lever used on the A-187 which lifted the left bottom. Now that lever bolts to the left side on the tranny area and could be made to lift your plow if you welded a link to the lift assy this would clear your platform. For some reason the parts book doesent show the left lever assy for the B-187 .I cant see the notches in the quadrant on your pics but it sure does look similar to the A-187 snown in the parts book. You sure arent the first to get an attachment and be missing some parts. I bought a whole pile of stuff along with some tractors and ended up getting various levers brackets and so forth. I did sell a B-187 with hand lift. I have and use the B-187 exhaust lift plow for gardens and also have the BN-187 model that i have never used. Ive also had the A192 EXHAUST LIFT model which i sold and also the B192 EXHAUST model which i have sold along with the tractor. Therefore i have had pretty good experience with the various models and their use. Glad to help and good luck.

Oh right. Thanks for the explanation. That would make sense why the bolts are horizontal in the bottom of the handle instead of vertical. Have you by any chance got any photos, drawings etc of the bits I'm missing? I'm still not having any luck finding pictures so that I know what I'm looking for, and to make sure that the A brackets are correct too. Thanks for your help again.
