Hi all i need to replace the main rear seal in my m but can"t seem to get the bottom half of the seal off the crank what do i need to do thanks.

You have to split the tractor.

I did spilt it i have to put a new clutch in like i said i have the top side of the seal off but the bottom side of it wont come past the crank. thanks

Its been a while, but seems theres a plate or something there, or maybe some oddball bolts or something. If you have all the bolts out it could just be gasket stuck.

You need to take pan off and then that little plate below seal.

Rear main seal is 2 felt strips, the 2 die cast holders are very prone to warp if you get them off lay on a flat surface to check.
