Latest Finished Project (check it out!!).......

Here is my latest project that I just completed yesterday. The only thing I have left to do is put a seat cover on the seat (unless it sells before I get it ordered). Anyways, its a 59 Cub with a Full Set of IH 144 6 Shank Cultivators painted IH Blue. I don't think the tractor turned out that bad. Let me know what yall think. I'd like to hear your input good or bad. Thanks.

Nah, it'll be ok since I've got 8 more Cubs, 4 Super A's, 3 140's, 1 100, and 1 Regular A in the shed. Most of which are awaiting cleaning up and painting. I'm gonna start that as soon as all of this heat breaks. Oh, and I've got about 12 sets of Cultivators, 4 sets of planters, 6 Belly Plows, 2 Scrape Blades, 7 Belly Mowers, and 2 sets of Disk Harrows I'm gonna try and get painted up to match the tractors. Haha, looks like I've got plenty to do; therefore I don't think I'm gonna have time to miss the little Cub.

Yea, I did notice the sweeps were a little off in adjustment, but I decided not to worry since the person who buys it will have to adjust them to their row spacing anyways. I did put them on as straight as I could though.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Cute little Cub. I'd say, nice job. Thanks for sharing. Folks could take a lesson from your photo techniques on the top two pictures...see how much more tractor you 'see' from the high and low angle and the shaded light doesn't wash out or hide detail. I'd like to know how you prep the tractor for painting. i.e. sandblasting; breathing apparatus for painting, hvlp vs. pressure paint gun, etc. Sounds like you have lots of red iron to 'practice' on.

On the next one you should do a little more prep on the sheet metal. Either get all that old acarred up paint sanded down smooth or blast it off and prime and paint from bare metal. With all that other work on the gear and implements a few hours on the tin would MORE than offset the work in increased value.
