C with 153 - same length engine?

A question arose regarding 153 engines in model C tractors: Are the engines the same length?

Yes im pretty sure they are because i had a super C with one in there and it fit perfectly.

I belief that they are all the same length but there are four different blocks listed for ag use. I have also read that the crawler uses a block unique to that application. You will need to check the front and rear bolt patterns to make sure you get one that fits what you want to use it for.

Yep! The SC that Super C that I have has a stock hood and steering shaft. If it was longer those parts wouldn't line up to good.
