maybe someone has an idea! my backhoe was working great then lost all hydrolics to loader and hoe we dead headed the pump and it still puts out 2200 psi lust cranking it over. we have had all the valves apart and found nothing seams like all pressures are just bypassing any help would be appriciated thank you much mike brown

It might be a failed pressure relief valve. It is pilot operated so it will open with just finger pressure even if it is good. There is a small spring inside the middle of the valve that determines the opening pressure. If that spring breaks or debris is keeping to orifice open, you will not be able to build pressure. Usually just swap in a known good valve to see if the old one is bad.

If it is anything like my 2606, there is a popoff valve on the return line block that mounts on the right/passenger side at the front of the rockshaft housing. There is another one at the front on the right/passenger side but inside the housing under the cover under the seat.

I pulled my out of the housing and it had a piece of broken spring holding the ball open. Stuck it in the vice to open the ball and the metal piece fell inside. It is still there and been working ever since. The pockets are staked on the inside so the guts can't be unscrewed.

However mine was blocked open so there was no pressure. If you have pressure, then your problem must be something else blocked.
