Canandaigua NY. Is anybody here going and what are you taking? I'm taking my wide front F12 whith a 90 plow on it. Hope to see you there.

My son, my best friend, his son, and I are going, but we're not taking anything. We'll get there Wednesday at noon time and planning on leaving sometime Friday afternoon. I'm in hopes to also take in the IH show in Southern NH on Sunday. Too bad they both fell on the same weekend.....

Same weekend?

Dublin, NH IH Collector's show is tomorrow and Sunday. The NY show appears to be the following weekend. I'll be at Dublin tomorrow. Probably go to the Straw Hollow show in Boylston, MA next weekend. Canadaigua is too far.

I would also like to add that I don't think Dublin, NH is a good location for a New England show. Too many long grades and slow truck lanes. I would like to take my W-400LP as I think it would attract some interest. But I am not going to wear out my 1-ton Dodge Cummins for the privledge of showing the tractor. I warped a front brake rotor a few years ago heading east into Denver, CO. with a trailer. We ain't got them hills here but I'd rather not expose my truck to any difficult conditions. Especially in the hot summertime.

I say pick a site along I-89, I-90, I-93, I-95. Give us a break (or brake, as the case may be). Those that haul Cubs may disregard this plea.

I'm looking forward to the Canandaigua show for my first visit. I recently bought a '46 farmall A and hope to learn a little bit more about what I've got. I live in Rochester NY now, but I have fond memories of the Dublin engine show when I was a kid. ..very familiar with the town. I went to Dublin School. More hilly than most of western NY out here. I forget the statistic exactly, but Dublin is the highest town center in the state.

Oops, thanks for correcting me. I was reading my Red Power last night and realized I had made a mistake on the NH show. Can't go Dublin today, but I'll go tomorrow. I've never been to any of the shows in Dublin, but I've been going out to Canadaigua every year for the last 8-9 years.
