International 606 diesel need help bleeding fuel lines

I recently purchased a 606 diesel utiltity which ran really good, but would not start so well. Among other things 3 of the glow plugs were dead (so according to people on here I am lucky it started at all)

I went through the fuel system, drained old fuel, cleaned sediment bowl, new filters, and am now at the point were I need to bleed this system.

How do I go about bleeding the air? I know I should have a good tankful of fuel. What screws do I open first. Thanks

Get fuel to your filters first. Remove the fuel line on the engine side of the filters until you have fuel coming out then retighten the fuel line.

Keep moving towards the engine. Once you get fuel to the pump, crack open each line at the injector and crank it over until you get fuel out of each line, tighten each line back up.

That should get your lines bled.

On the top of the fuel filter canisters are bleader screws 3/8 or 7/16 I don"t remember which open them and wait until no air comes out it may take a while because the filters are empty. then there is a screw on the top of the pump open it and wait until no air come out. Then crack the lines at the injectors and start cranking. After it starts you may have to crack the lines one at a time to remove all air.

OK, thanks for the help.

One more question, when you say crack lines at the injectors do you mean up near the glow plugs on the head or where the lines come out of the injector pump?

Sorry, still figuring out how to post.

I lucked out and did not have to bleed anything
except the filter canisters. Thank you all for the help as I will know what to do if I get in deeper.
