H Model forzen clutch?

I left my H model parked while I was away on military duty. I"ve got it running fine but when I depress the clutch it seems to have no effect when I attempt to put the tractor in gear. Does anyone have any trouble shooting steps or recommended procedures?

Aim the tractor out onto a clear area with nothing to hit. Put it in 2nd gear and start it with the clutch pushed down. It will brake loose. Jim

You may need to apply the brakes a bit to put a little stress against the clutch.

Understand start it in gear with a little pressure on the braek?
