hey guys, I met a guy that makes model tractors & equip. from wood. he wants a picture or infro. on one of the first international pusher combines? hope I said that right. guess you sat on top & ate all the dust.thanks, wayne N Ind.

I didnt know that IH had made any. I knew that Gleaner Bros had made some useing a fordson as a power source.

When they first came out farmers in this area caled SP combines "pushers" as compared to "pull types". Maybe just a regional slang thing.

Oops, forgot to add that according to C.H. Wendel's "150 years of International Harvester ", IH"s first self propelled combine appeared in 1942. Model # was 123-SP
