Help Identify/Locate Service Manual

I recently purchased a 1975 Cub that came with this "phone book" of a service manual. This is the best manual I've ever seen for a Cub or any tractor. It has breakdowns of everything on the tractor and step-by-step directions for doing Anything you desire. It also tells you what "special tools" you need to preform the work and how to order them.

Could you guys help me determine what kind of manual this is, and what it is called??? Also, I would Love to have one for my Farmall/IH Super A, 100, 130, and 140 tractors just like this manual. Let me know what yall think.

Here are some pictures of the "first page" that I have and a picture of the Table of Contents page. Hope you can determine what it is by these pictures. I can send specific ones if needed. Thanks.

That's just the IH service manual for the cub tractors GSS 1411 Rev 1. I have mine within reach pretty much constantly this summer. It is a good manual although I like the Blue Ribbon for the B, A, SA, etc a little better.

You can buy manuals here on this site...good folks. Binderbooks is also a good site. Jensales has more manuals than anybody, I think, but they do tend to be pricey. The IH Blue Ribbon service manual for the Farmall B also convers the A, AV, B, and BN. I am ALMOST positive it is the manual that was listed for the SA/SAV or I would have ordered another manual for my SAV and I did not. The manual above is a different format than the Cub manual you like so much but is still very good. To be honest, I am not a fan of the Cub manual. Shop around but don't buy one off of e-bay. Cheesy bad photocopies pirated from originals.

We like the Cub manual so far because of its detail and ease of understanding and reading. We would like a manual of the same quality/information or better. That is all I'm asking. Would the Blue Ribbon be like the Cub one but better? What is it that you don't prefer about the Cub manual I have? Thanks.

The Cub manual you have IS an IH Blue Ribbon service manual just like the other manual I referenced. I just find the Cub manual difficult when I want to look up a specific topic. The A/AV/B/BN version has a better index. They are both fine manuals and both open on my desk daily as I have both a Loboy and an SAV in the shop right now.

Thanks for all of the clarifacation Dave. I am assuming the Super A manual will be the same for the 140 tractor. I wonder if I just bought the late version (1975-1979) for a 140 that it would be great for Super A, 100 and so on?
