farmall 504 gas tractor question

looking at getting a farmall 504, and was wondering if atachments from a farmall M would fit on this tractor, it looks like they might? Also is a farmall 504 gas tractor worth 2500.
 
If its in real good shape it should be worth 2500. The cultivators can be made to fit with a little work. A few brakets and a little welding might have to be done.
 
Not sure what attachments you mean, the frame is a little narrower than an M, more like an H or C but a spacer would handle the difference.

A 504 is a decent early 60's tractor with a 3pt hitch, live hydraulics, and live PTO. A bit light and some don't like the sleeveless engine or TA, but it will do plenty of work for you if it's in working condition. You don't pay extra for a collector tractor. $2500 sounds about right for one without significant problems and usable tires.

I've had one for about 10 years. I added front and rear wheels weights and switched to electronic ignition. It does everything I ask of it.
 
I have a set of the cultivators for a 504. They are complete with cylinders and hoses with quick connects, with the exception of the "feet" which are easy to come by. I took them off my 504 so I could work on the tractor and get it ready to sell. There are no breaks or welds that I can see anywhere and are in good shape. I will take $700 for the 2 row set (front and back). I have also included a picture of the front and back. Email me if any of you guys are intrested.

The Army used these tractors for mowing the firing ranges. They had those bat wing mowers and since some of those rounds were still alive they had constructed shelters on each tractor made from armor plate to protect the drivers. When they had an engine problem they sold the tractor since they didn't have sleeves. They replaced them with big Ford diesel tractors. Hal
