Best shop manual value for Farmall A Industrial

I see on this forum's website manuals for my A Industrial. One for, "chassis," and one for engine. Total for both is $70.

Anyone know if these are reprints or originals?

I'd like to support this site, so am considering them. But are these the best manuals?

Dennis

Jensales manuals (sold direct or by this site) are photo copies of the original manuals along with a lot of advertising for themselves. www.binderbooks sells digital copies and look like the originals, no advertising. Both are otherwise the same, the printing and diagrams that binder books has are better. Don't worry about the site. It makes a lot of money off of parts. The A manuals I have are from Jensales (that is how I know the quality, bought before I knew better), the engine and chassis manuals are combined, there may be some "Blue Ribbon" manuals that are more specific, I don't have those. Also, despite it's brief explanations the I&T manual is a good supplement.

Thank you. A reprint will do for my purposes just fine, but I always look for very good quality in reproduced illustrations, etc. Makes a big difference to me. I just pulled up Binder Books and their menu shows repro manuals but I cannot open it. I'll call them tomorrow.

Thanks again, Dennis

I bought this I&T manual back in 1975 when I restored an A. Sure was helpful. Cost back then $4.00. Hal

Guys: I ordered a 3-book set from Binder today. Hal, I used to use the I&T books too, on old Deere's. They are pretty decent and I might pick up one of those too.

Thank you all for the help, Dennis
