A Ind. sweeper photos

I just brought home a 1945 AI Industrial with a sweeper attachment. This tractor was used in our town for sweeping, (pop. 1600 people).

I have no use for the sweeper so am going to dismount it on blocks and cover it up. I hope to find a new home for it and I need attachments for my new non-hydraulic A that I can use around the place.

That right angle drive appears to be one those built from flat-head Ford rear end components till 1948. Many of them were set up to run high-speed 3.56 (or lower) gears. That ratio used to be very rare and probably still is. It may have some value.

My info is not current. Although I have an old Ford, I haven't played with them for 30 years.

I am surprised that the last mechanic who worked on that sweeper didn't line up the U-Joints properly.
