560 fuel injector pre cup removal help

i have removed a injector to get a stuck glow plug out. should i remove the pre cup under the injector and replace the metal sealing ring under it or not just wondering the position of the cup. i and t manual says it is marked with the word top. my cup has a oblong holepointed about between 6 and 7 oclock this would be looking down in the injector hole. if you think i should removeit how should i thought about putting a slide hammer with a l shaped hook inserted through the center and give it a pull.wondering if i should just leave it alone
 
the hole goes in the 6 oclock position. yes they are marked with the word top on the outside of cup. there is a slide hammer available to remove them . may need to visit c.nh. dealer. your idea may work if its not too stuck. dont want to damage it.
