Help...Broke

Pulling tonight, broke hub, this has happened before, however right axle will not turn???, What else did I brake??

What tractor?you may have shelled uot a finaldrive/bullgear.If you keep tearing it up,maybe you should figure out WHY,or quit pulling it.Is the engine souped/hotrodded?are there to many wts holding it to the ground,preventing wheel slip.ya gotta have some!

sorry ...Farmall M 1950...We broke a hub approx. 8 - 10 years ago right after we started pulling this tractor. Tonight... Cast wheels and hubs, pulling with only three sets of IH wheel weights on it in the 6,000 lb class, 15.5 x 38 tires, stock motor with 4.125' pistons,turning 2200 rpm.
We have pulled this set up approx 5 years. The tractor was pulling well with no indication of trouble, Loud ping sound, I stopped as soon as I could safely do so.

Sounds like normal wear and tear finally got the better of 'er...

As for what's broke, you're gonna have to tear into it and find out. Could be any of a dozen different things... You're gonna have to tear into it anyway cuz it ain't gonna heal by itself if you leave it there.

Luckily M parts are easy to come by and cheap. Should be a rather simple fix.
