A buddy of mine has a B-434 and needs another carb to replace the Zenith one on it. Maybe we only need a kit because it runs way too rich and won't adjust. The only thing we can find on it is "Zenith British made VN"
What kind of carb should we look for?
Thanks

Why not just fix it? The British Zenith VN is the better of two models - VN and VNN. It's just a 30 mm downdraft carb and is also used on several small British cars. VN has the accelerator pump and economy valve, whereas the cheaper VN has neither.

Most that I've taken apart, I didn't even need new gaskets. Thottle shaft, float, etc. are all still availalbe.

If you just want to bolt on something else, you need a down-draft 30 MM carb with two bolt-studs that are 2 3/8" on center for mounting. Volkswagn used them years back in the Beetles (Solex 30MM). Some military Jeeps also use downdraft 30 MM carbs.

By the way, British-Zenith no longer exists. It bought by Solex and then, those carbs were phased out.
