Farmall M fuel line plumbing

I'm going to make my own plumbing to the carb on my M and I was wondering what the specifications are for the fitting on the carb? Mine has the female version and I was wondering what you guys do to run a line to this. I would rather not have to buy something online as I'd like to get it running and move it out of my garden on friday :)

Edit: I'd preferably like to do this with rubber hose as I have about 10 feet of rubber 3/8" hose I'd like to use, so I guess I need to find a barb fitting that will thread into the carb with a screen

Thank you

Go to your local napa store.they should have a large assortment of brass fittings.take some 'samples' to get the right threads, get what you need to do the job.Thats whats I do when I 'replumb' a tractor.

These are your barbed swivel nuts from Aeroquip and their 3/8 hose. I have one on my dishwasher too. Take your old fittings along so they can match them with new ones. Hal

Why not just buy a compete new steel fuel line? They come with the fittings already on the line and are not expensive at all.

Because I already have 10 feet of hose and am putting in an inline filter and ball valve. Plus I need to get the tractor going. If i could get a steel line all built up locally I would.

All of those parts you need are available on-line and can be on your doorstep in just 2 to 3 days. Just do a Google search for "Farmall fuel line", "Farmall sediment bowl", etc.

I stated earlier that I just wanted to do this locally and get my tractor moving tomorrow. I don't want to buy a sediment bowl and am going to run an inline filter as it is cheaper. I already have the hose and want to make use of it.
