mowers for cubs and cub lowboy's have drasticly different mounting brackets and drive assemblys dont they,[ i just saw the one in mo on the photo adds,]

In MO as in misery or is that Missouri?? LOL don't tell me your in this state also?? But yes they are not at all close to the same animal and one will not work on the other unless you have a welder and a hot wrench.

lol old, no i live in nm, but mo is kind of within driving range, i found several mowers for my cub but they start in central ill, and go east and north, by the time i come pick it up the cost of the trip makes it too expensive to be pratical, i have a hot wrench and a nice scrap pile, but i would rather get one designed to go on the cub if at all possible

Ya know how it is. A friend has a sickle mower for his cub and had no clue as to how to hook it up so I had to do all the leg work to find out how and then mount it for him and he did not use it for a week befor he broke it. Oh well he is one of those guys that can look at something and it brakes. LOL

What type you looking for? I have one for a Farmall in Dallas, but not sure that is enough closer than MO to make any difference.

looking for either the L59 with everything or the 42 inch with everything this cub has been gone thru before i bought it, i wont say restored, as the paint is nice but amature and there are a few other issues, but i want to use it to mow about 10 acres, on the farm, not consectutive, and its a busy 10 acres [ buildings trees ect] my brush hog tractor a ford will do it but its a pretty intense job, its pretty smooth and i can use a lawn tractor but these newer china made ones only last about 2 years and there worn out, im figuring the cub would be a much better mowing tractor

I have an IH (Danco) C-2 mower which is similar to a Woods 42. It is attached to a parts tractor I bought a while back so I've never run it. The blades are pretty well used up but looks OK otherwise.

very interested, looks good to me, i would need the complete system, mower pto pully and everything since this cub has never had a mower, [ i dont think the pto on mine has even been used] how much are you asking for it? also do you know a source for the blades?

If all I have to do is remove it from the tractor and not get involved with bundling it up for shipping, I'll take $200. Blades are still available from CaseIH, probably other sources as well.

If you want to follow up on this, we should probably go off the web site to talk details. My email is jim<dot>becker<at>verizon<dot>net.
