Lifting Woods L306 on Farmall BN

Is factory lift mechanism able to lif this mower easily when the counter spring is used? I have a BN and L306 working nicely right now, wih no way to lif the mower. Before I spend a bundle at the woods dealer, I want to make sure the mower lifts relatively easily.

If anyone knows wher a manual lift can be had cheaper than new, let me know please.

I have a Woods L503 five foot belly mower on my Farmall A. It has a manual lift and it is no problem lifting the mower. I can grab the lever from the seat and pull up the mower without too much effort. Roger
