starting a 1086

Crack the throttle and twist 'er tail.

If it doesn't start, ya probably just found out why it was given to ya. :>)

Make sure there is air and fuel to the engine.

Then if it is timed right and has compression it should start.

May want to ask why it was parked.

Drain all old fuel, flush tank ...put in fresh fuel take each injector line loose and make sure you have fuel.

Bleed system and you should be good to go.
